Everybody makes mistakes every once in a while, and that’s completely normal. The problem is that some people make a lot more mistakes than others, and what’s worse – they seem to be completely unaffected by their own errors, carrying on with their happy, carefree lives, while the rest of us have to deal with the consequences that should be theirs. This is a collection of photos that made us wonder “how could they possibly think they were doing a good job?!”

Where the sidewalk ends
Some people take their jobs very seriously. They show up to work, do their very best, and go home with the satisfaction of a job well done. The person who was responsible for building this sidewalk, though?
They took one look at the post blocking their path and probably shrugged and said, “Not my problem.” And instead of actually trying to connect the two pieces of the sidewalk together, they just picked up their work several feet to the left of it.

Don’t forget to dry your hands
There are so many bad things going on in this picture, we don’t even know where to start. There are three sinks, but five paper towel dispensers? First of all, that’s not very green. Having that much paper available will let people feel like they can waste it.
Second, why are they placed like that? The first four seem to be alternating in height, but what’s going on with the last one to the right? Third, why were they put in front of the sink? Doesn’t his bathroom have a mirror?
Technically the truth
This truck driving company didn’t realize that their logo would be foreshadowing when their driver tried to maneuver the truck beneath this overpass.

Married to a raccoon
When you’re married, time and intimacy will teach you things about your partner that you previously had no idea about, even if you two dated for several years before tying the knot.

A mysterious punishment
Gardens are supposed to be soothing and relaxing, but this inconsistent green area is just making us sweat in all the wrong places. Why did the plant all the bushes in pairs, except for that one to the right?

Imagine looking out the window of your house and having to look at that for the rest of your life. It’s like – I’m sure that I am being punished for something bad – I just don’t know what.

Choose your floor
Trying to navigate your building’s elevator can be tricky, especially if it’s your first time riding in it. In most instances, you would reasonably expect the floors to be labeled in a specific order. That would be the smart thing to do, right?

For some reason, the person who designed this elevator panel decided to get a little bit creative in their ordering and just arranged them whatever way they desired. Think fast: find the 16th floor! Okay, now spot the 25th floor. At least we can laugh at this gaffe together, right?

How not to slice pie
The holidays are the perfect time of the year for pumpkin pie. Any time between the first week of November to the last day of December are all reasonable times to eat this delicious treat, especially with a dollop of whipped cream.

However, someone didn’t get the memo that you’re supposed to slice a pie from the edges, not from the middle. Maybe they’re not crust people? While we’d normally be upset about someone doing that to this defenseless pie, it just means more pie crust for us.

The real game
There’s no doubt that United States customs gets a bad rap. We get that they’re trying to protect us, but we simply can’t get over the amount of tax they charge. However, this amount of vandalism to check if a package is simply unnecessary.
