I can’t believe what happened! My mother-in-law decided to show up for Halloween dressed as a witch, complete with the cackling and everything! She thought it would be funny, but it scared my 4-year-old so much that she burst into tears and couldn’t stop crying.
Honestly, I’m thinking about forbidding my MIL from seeing my child for a while. It was just too much! I get that it’s Halloween, but there’s a line between spooky and outright terrifying.
How do I even explain to my daughter that her grandma isn’t actually a witch?
