When my neighbor Shannon started sunbathing in bikinis right outside my teenage son Jake’s window, I politely asked her to move. Instead, she retaliated by planting a filthy toilet on my lawn with a sign that read, “FLUSH YOUR OPINION HERE!”
Determined to resolve the issue, I approached her again, but she dismissed my concerns. As her sunbathing turned into loud parties and chaos, I decided to let karma handle it.
One day, the fire department showed up because Shannon falsely reported a sewage leak due to my “lawn ornament.” After that, she upped her antics by sunbathing on her roof, only to end up face-first in her petunias when her sprinkler malfunctioned.
Eventually, Shannon installed a privacy fence, and peace returned to our neighborhood. The next morning, Jake cautiously opened his blinds, relieved. “Is it safe to come out of witness protection now?”
“Yeah, honey. The show’s been canceled.” We both laughed, happy to finally have our normal lives back.
