My Neighbors Threw Their Rotten Halloween Decorations in My Yard So I Would Take Them Away – But I Taught Them a Lesson

When my neighbors Gary and Brenda dumped their rotting Halloween leftovers on my lawn, I knew they wanted to make me clean up their mess. But after years of their petty complaints, I decided it was time for payback.

I piled their moldy pumpkins and dead cornstalks into a wheelbarrow, arranging them on their lawn like a haunted scene—skeletons “guarding” the mailbox, rotten pumpkins lining the path. Then, I left a note: “Thought I’d help with your cleanup. Happy belated Halloween!”

Days later, Brenda called, panicked. Rats had infested their home, wiring was chewed through, and the HOA hit them with fines. They had to sell the house. As they drove away, I watched from my window, feeling just a bit of guilt. Then I remembered: they started it.

Next Halloween? I’ll go even bigger.
