Kate Middleton has ‘one rule’ for all her children that they’re never allowed to break

The Princess of Wales has a unique parenting style for her three children, Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, nine, and Prince Louis, six, with husband Prince William. Unlike previous Royal families, the Wales family often shares sweet moments, such as Kate’s nickname for Louis and William dancing to Taylor Swift’s ‘Shake It Off’ with their eldest children.

Despite appearing calm during Royal events, Kate reportedly has a strict approach behind the scenes. According to The Sun, shouting is “totally off limits” and tantrums result in a “removal.” “There’s no ‘naughty step’ but there is a ‘chat sofa,’” a source said. “The naughty child is taken away from the scene and talked to calmly by either Kate or William. Things are explained and consequences outlined, and they never shout at them.”

Kate’s parenting focus extends beyond her family. She has led several campaigns, including ‘Shaping Us’ with the Centre for Early Childhood, highlighting early childhood development. “This isn’t just about raising kids. It’s about shaping our futures, shaping our society,” she told Capital Breakfast’s Roman Kemp in 2023. “Families need support and help reprioritising family life, home life… because it is tough.”

Kate’s approach emphasizes calm communication and early childhood development, aiming to create a nurturing world for all.
